This is a page to remember Sheila Briginshaw (nee Barrett), otherwise known as Mim. A great person and mother.

About Sheila Briginshaw nee Barrett
Mim was born in Co. Mayo Ireland. She left the West of Ireland to work in Dublin and then in London.
She was a fun-loving person and had lots of friends. She met her husband Tony in London.
She looked after her 3 children very well. We lived together in Wanstead, Brighton, Colindale, Edgware and Mill Hill.
Just when we were all leaving home and she could have some rest, she was stricken with Alzheimer's Disease.

Interests/Occupation
Mim worked as an administrator for Hawker Siddeley and for the Civil Service.
She was very interested in politics and international affairs. She was a determined left winger and peace campaigner. Her favourite polticians were Tony Benn and Fidel Castro! (Favourite athelete: Alberto Juantorena (maybe she had a thing for those Cuban dudes!))
She loved her children very much, especially Diane who she looked after very well (Diane had CF) and had many fun times with.
She had a great sense of humour and fun. She liked staying up late and getting up (very) late!

Relations
Mim was the mother of Jeffrey (me), Jane and the late Diane. She was wife of Tony.
