In Loving Memory of Diane Geraghty (1968-1999)

About Diane Geraghty
Diane was a lovely funny person. She lit up our lives with her wonderful sense of humour and great optimism. This was despite the fact that she had Cystic Fibrosis, a hereditary disease that meant she would only have a short stay here on Earth. She died in August 1999. We all miss her.
It is hard to sum her up in a few words. She was a joy to be with, she always had a smile on her face, even if she was ill. She hated the doctors at the "horribletal" and lived most of her life ignoring her disease and trying to be a normal person (and usually achieving and exceeding that goal). She laughed at all my jokes (which was tough).

Interests/Occupation
Diane collected BEANIE BABIES! She also liked to mess around on the WEB ("internut") and "venerating" in her Bede (i.e. sleeping!).
She worked as a photo librarian and administrator.

Relations
Diane was my sister (Jeffrey/John Briginshaw) and also Jane's sister, and the daughter of Tony. Her best friend was her Mum, Sheila, who died in 1997.
She was very lucky to marry her "dream guy", Chris Geraghty, in 1996. They lived happily until her final illness, but she leaves a deep void for Chris now, and for the rest of us too.
