Location
I was born in Arbroath, Scotland but in my teens moved back to the Island of Jersey where my parents and the rest of my family are from. At the age of 28, I decided it was time to see more of the world so backpacked my way around most of it! I eventually found myself working in the Caribbean on yachts, which is where I met Jim 9 years ago. Now we spend the winters sailing and summers in Huntley / Marengo, Illinois, USA, a small village about 50 miles west of Chicago.

About me/us
I am 39 years old, the daughter of Michael Briginshaw and Susan Brown and have one sister Juliette who is 42. She has 5 children, Marc, Stephanie, Sarah, Sophia and Edward. I am not married and do not have children but I do have a 14 year old chocolate labrador called Coco.

Interests/Occupation
Jim and I (and Coco in his younger years) spend our winters sailing in the Caribbean, the summers are spent in the USA working on land development projects and working out how we can afford to spend the next winter sailing in the Caribbean! I also have been practicing as an holistic therapist since 1997.

My Relations
I have met other Briginshaws and their families in Tasmania and Australia, John and Sue, Steve and Alex, Peta and Keith and their sons/daughters/cousins etc. Also the Briginshaws in Vancouver Island, Canada.
